Below are some photos of a road widening project we completed for Argyll and Bute Council at the beginning of the year, with the aim of improving the sight line of the road.
We achieved this by removing mature trees and vegetation, allowing us to access a protruding rock face, which we removed using a 30 tonne excavator and rock breaker. Following this, we installed new drainage and realigned the road to make it straighter for road users, before laying a regulating layer of tarmac. All rock materials removed during the project have been recycled for future use, which is great news! Great work here by the guys👏
