Within the past couple of months we have completed works on Cherry Park Courtyard in Inveraray for Argyll Estates. The ancient courtyard was needing attention as the cobblestones had started to become worn and unstable. Our works included lifting and cleaning the previous cobblestones before relaying them and suppling the extra small shortfall needed. We also replaced the drainage in the courtyard to increase the lifespan of the re-laid cobblestones. A special thank you to Argyll Estates for providing the drone images that show the progression of the project. We also completed a small project for Argyll Estates at Inveraray Castle. This involved the removal of cope stones below the previous damaged fence around the castle grounds, and after, the laying of new bespoke cut Achnaba stone from MacLeod Construction's Achnaba quarry, and construction of a new fence.

Below are a few photos of some local stonework projects. The first two show a garden improvement, where we upgraded the drainage and constructed a stone retaining wall with steps to allow access to the raised garden area. The other images show some stone cladding that is still being constructed. Stonework was one of the original crafts in the companies early years and is something we continue to take great pride in today.
We began construction on Barr River Community Hydroscheme in May this year. The project is making good progress with works currently involving excavating and laying the pipeline and constructing several concrete intakes.
