As of the First Minister's statement on the 15th of July, the company has entered phase four of the construction sector guidance, allowing the resumption of works at a steady state. Over the past few weeks, safety and hygiene measures have been put in place across our sites to ensure the upmost safety of staff during our phased restart.

One of the current projects we are completing involves work for The Scottish Salmon Company at Kishorn Port near Applecross in the Highlands. The Smolt Unit pictured below is part of phase two in The Scottish Salmon Company's programme to increase their capacity of freshwater production across the Scottish Highlands and Islands. In a press release, the company has said the development will be 'a centre of excellence in freshwater production'. As a principal contractor on site, we have completed the full construction of the Smolt Unit and are delighted to be working with The Scottish Salmon Company on this project. We are delighted to have received the Developing Young Workforce Employer of the Year Award 2020 from Lochgilphead High School. The company takes great pride in helping our future workforce through offering work placements and school visits. In the past year, the company organised the visit of an excavator training simulator for pupils to try out as seen in picture below. We look forward to continuing to support the High School and our future workforce in the different ways we can.   |
