Corrour Pole Barn Groundworks

An insight into some of the work we have been completing on Corrour Estate, where we were contracted to complete all groundworks to facilitate the construction of a new pole barn.

Our works involved the bulk excavation of 3000 tonne of material, before we imported suitable fill to prepare the ground for foundations. Reinforced concrete bases to hold the columns for the structure were then poured, with the remaining areas filled and compacted with hardcore.

The pictures show the different stages of the construction, a great effort from all of the guys working up there.
