Whilst clearing through some of the office last week, we came across this poem written about some of the works we completed on Inveraray Main Street years gone by. We're guessing this was approximately 15 years ago...

An insight into some of the work we have been completing on Corrour Estate, where we were contracted to complete all groundworks to facilitate the construction of a new pole barn.
Our works involved the bulk excavation of 3000 tonne of material, before we imported suitable fill to prepare the ground for foundations. Reinforced concrete bases to hold the columns for the structure were then poured, with the remaining areas filled and compacted with hardcore. The pictures show the different stages of the construction, a great effort from all of the guys working up there. The latest progress on a local harbour project we have been busy working on. Next, the concrete wall will be poured before hard landscaping will be completed
Harbour construction is just one of coastal defence services we offer, take a look at the coastal defence section on our website to have a read into the details of our services. Some more images of the monoblock we have been working on at Dunbeg for MacLeod Construction Ltd. It is looking really great, credit to all of the guys working up there, great job👏🏼
Some great progress being made on one of our current projects, Alt Na Moine Hydroscheme. The first images show the near completed power house where stonemasons are currently working to finish off the remainder of the stonework. Following this, you can see the dam diversion, where the intake screens have now been fitted, the dam spillway and intake chamber. The last images show progression of the left bank wing wall, where the main focus now is shuttering and steel work, followed by the right embankment. The main pipeline is also now connected and the project is nearing it's final stages.
Credit to Hydroplan for the images. Recently completed project to create Primary filtering, Ozone Treatment, and additional water storage for the existing salmon hatchery. Adopting this new process allows the hatchery to re-cycle existing water, reducing river extraction and treat any unwanted bacteria allowing the growth of healthier fish.
Our task was to construct all concrete structures, steel building to house the mechanical equipment and install all underground large diameter pipework. The project was delivered on time and on budget despite some challenging ground conditions and has now been handed over to the Process engineers for fit out. One of the latest additions to our plant fleet, the Kobelco SK130-11LC from Molson Young Plant Sales, great service as always. This is our first Kobelco excavator and we are looking forward to it taking its place on our sites.
A mixture of tarmac and mono block roads and parking areas coming together nicely on the latest phase of Dunbeg's housing development. Pictures are from a site visit last week.
Some pictures of a local project we have been working on, excavating approximately 500 ton of rock and forming a harbour area to house a new boat. More updates to follow
A busy past couple of weeks up on Corrour Estate. The first images show the on-site construction of a roof ready to be fitted to the new substation built at Luiblea on the estate. The latter images show new larch doors being constructed and fitted to the underground substation at Corrour station that we have been working on over the last few months.
